US-based beverage company Long Island Iced Tea has signed two distribution agreements with European food and beverage company Natur.

As per the agreement, Long Island Iced Tea will be the exclusive distributor of Natur’s branded products in the US, while Natur will be the sole distributor of the Long Island Iced Tea products in Europe.

Long Island Iced Tea CEO Philip Thomas said: “We are very excited with the opportunity to distribute Natur’s hi-tech, better-for-you brands in North and South America.

“Long Island Iced Tea will be the exclusive distributor of Natur’s branded products in the US, while Natur will be the sole distributor of the Long Island Iced Tea products in Europe.”

“Its brands are supported by farm-to-shelf traceability, and the company has access to outstanding research and development (R&D) via its shareholder AMC.”

Long Island Iced Tea will initially distribute Natur’s line of juices, which are available in 250ml and 750ml bottles.

Natur’s beverages are claimed to contain a high nutritional density while maintaining a premium quality and taste.

Natur CEO Robert Jan van Olm said: “Long Island Iced Tea is a great partner for us in the US, having established an extensive distribution footprint across the Northeast of the US as well as emerging positions in Canada and Latin America.

“We believe their existing distribution position, underpinned by our effective e-commerce platforms which we will roll out and support in the US, will combine to create exciting growth opportunities. Reciprocal to this, we expect Natur to deliver similar benefits for the Long Island Tea brands in Europe.”
