Clear/Cut Phocus has announced that its sparkling water products will be available at more than 800 CVS locations across the US.

Called Phocus, the water is claimed to contain natural caffeine and L-theanine, which is associated with reducing stress, as well as lowering heart rate and blood pressure.

It is also said to contain a blend of natural energy boosters, concentration enhancers and hydrating agents, as well as being free from calories, preservatives, sweeteners and sodium.

Phocus will be available as part of the US-based retail and healthcare company’s better-for-you-beverage programme, which is intended to promote personal wellness by offering healthier beverage options.

Clear/Cut Phocus’s co-founder and CEO Tom O’Grady said: “CVS is dedicated to expanding its selection of premium, healthy food and beverage offerings, and we’re excited to be working with them to offer Phocus to their customers.

“Together, we’ll be able to deliver on the promise of offering alternatives to soda and energy drinks to health-conscious customers across the country through our innovative approach to sparkling water.”

Phocus was developed in Louisville, Kentucky by entrepreneurs seeking a healthier, natural source of caffeine outside of coffee, energy drinks and sugary sodas by sourcing natural caffeine from green tea leaves.

Phocus is said to be a naturally energising sparkling water, and will be available in Grapefruit, Blood Orange and Yuzu & Lime flavours.

Phocus will also be available online at Amazon.com and on Clear/Cut Phocus’s website.
