US-based whiskey producer The Bardstown Bourbon Company (BBCo) has revealed that Castle Brands has joined its Collaborative Distilling programme.

The companies will produce custom beverages for Castle Brands’  Jefferson’s Bourbon portfolio, with plans to start distillation this year.

Bardstown Bourbon Company CEO David Mandell said: “We are so proud to work with Jefferson’s Bourbon team and help them create some of the finest products in the world.

“Bardstown’s experienced distilling team will provide the continuity needed to produce the consistent taste profile that our discerning Jefferson’s consumers have come to expect.”

“Jefferson’s bourbons and whiskeys are not only exceptional, but they are also innovative and extremely creative, which makes them a perfect fit for our Collaborative Distilling Programme.”

In this programme, Castle Brands will be working with Master Distiller Steve Nally and BBCo’s distilling team.

As part of the Collaborative Distilling programme, BBCo recently undertook a distillery expansion project, which will see the addition of three million proof gallon capacity by June this year.

Headquartered in New York, US, Castle Brands develops and markets alcohol beverage brands across the country.
